CYPRUS

I took the 20-hour flight into Larnaca, Cyprus.

I checked into my cheap hotel and then went for a stroll into the main plaza with all the cafes near the beach.

It was definitely a different world than small-town America; it seemed packed with dusky-skinned beauties. Everybody seemed lean and fit, particularly compared to back home. The bars and cafes were lively but not especially crowded.

A few days later, I took the bus to Ayia Napa and checked into the aging resort hotel near Nissi Beach my Girlfriend had booked, and she arrived in the evening, as always looking pale and tired.

We lay down, had sex, and immediately we got into our comfortable and oblivious holiday-time routine.
